I was ready. I had made my decision. It was time. Then my Lord intervened...I heard him say wait...So I asked for a sign before proceeding. At his opportune time, it happened. The fog lifted and I looked up. And there it was... the door. My door was revealed. It took me by surprise! Such mercy; Such kindness; Such goodness. I could not stop thanking him...
I entered. I only found silence. I was dismayed. What did I do? What went wrong? I waited...Maybe I misunderstood. No, there it was...silence, contempt. I was being reminded of who I was...Of where I belong. There was no courtesy, nor politeness...only cruelty. It took me by surprise! My eyes were blinded by tears. My heart broke in pieces. My soul knew anguish. So I ran to my refuge...my Lord...I heard him say He was with me wherever I go; Joshua 1:9 He was there! Such mercy; Such kindness; Such goodness. I could not stop thanking him...
