I often wondered about such drastic actions. Why such life altering changes? Why such extensive losses? Why such troublesome choices? Why such challenging decisions? These have rattled my plans. They have required much from me. Much faith...Much courage...Much trust...
I questioned Him. I searched for answers. With time, He has revealed specific truths: Love with actions and in truth 1 John 3:18; Keep my commandments 1 John 2:3; Walk like I walked; 1 John 2:6; Do the things that are pleasing in my sight; 1 John 3:22. By this you are abiding in me and you display your love.
I always wanted to be shown that I am love and appreciated. I never realized that this trait was an inheritance from my Father, My Lord, My Savior. Now, my decisions do not seem so drastic, nor do my choices such troublesome. In the end I am demonstrating love. The God of this Universe has called me his child and would like me to manifest my love for him. What a privilege! What an honor! What a pleasure!
