God's Throne

I woke up happy.  The Lord had moved. His word had provided wisdom and encouragement.  I was blessed!  Enjoying his grace and living under mercy were my banners.  I thought of the Lord’s plan for my life.  How blessed I was for being loved and appreciated.  How wonderful the gifts He had bestowed.  I smiled at my wonderful God.

That’s when the enemy decided he needed to remove my smile.  He bluntly asked me:  “State who you are”; and I had no choice but to reveal my life.  With a control voice I share my defeat, my perceived lack of faith, my inability to complete what I began.  My failure!

My heart broke at the shock.  Grace left the building and I was revealed.  Thank you so much my Lord that in the day I stand in your throne and give an account for my life, I will be bowing in the throne of grace.

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
Hebrews 4:16
