I predicted silence. I expected quiet. I had relinquished the belief of communication. That is when He began his discourse. Since then, his pronouncements have not ceased. There are no utterances, just actions.
I watched in astonishment! I participate in his events with disbelief. I share in his joy. I lavished in his affirmation. As I do, He is aware of my sorrow. He partakes in my distress and anguish. He understands the sadness in my smile.
Yet, He has a strategy. One that He has chosen not to share yet. I guess He wishes my faith will increase. Maybe He wants me to trust him more. I know his desire is for me to think of him as the relief for my misery and the only solution. I choose to cling to Him. I cry out to him...
I cry to the LORD in my trouble,
and he saved me from my distress.
He brought me out of darkness, the utter darkness,
and broke away my chains.
Let me give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love
and his wonderful deeds for mankind.
and he saved me from my distress.
He brought me out of darkness, the utter darkness,
and broke away my chains.
Let me give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love
and his wonderful deeds for mankind.
